Configure Outlook Calendar Sync
Explanation
This activity is used to configure the Outlook Calendar Sync.
Prerequisites
- A Business Representative must have been entered.
- An app must have been registered in the Azure AD Portal and Client
Secret should have been created for the app. Permissions should have been
given for the app.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the Outlook Calendar Sync is configured. The
sync service is running and changes in outlook will be synchronized to IFS
Application.

Procedure
- Open the Calendar Sync Configuration page and select New.
- Enter Tenant ID, Application ID and Client Secret.
- Enter a Sync Cycle.
- Enter Initial Sync From date.
- If a different calendar than the main calendar of the users should be
used for the sync, change the Main Calendar option. When the sync is
started, a calendar will be created in outlook for the users and the sync
service will handle items in that calendar. It is not recommended to change
the Main Calendar option afterwards so make sure that the correct
calendar is selected before you activate the sync.
- Optionally, enable logging of debug messages.
- Indicate whether the business activity should be deleted if the
connected outlook appointment is cancelled.
- Save.
- Activate the sync for the representatives.
- Start the sync.
