Set As Preliminary

Explanation

This activity is used to demote the budget/forecast version from status Reviewed or Approved to Preliminary. When done, this demotion enables the user to make changes on a budget/forecast version.

Prerequisites

The budget/forecast version to be demoted should be in status Reviewed or Approved.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the status Preliminary is assigned to the budget/forecast version.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to review a budget/forecast version:

1. Open the Project window and right click and select the Project Forecasts menu option, which will open the the Project Forecasts window with the related forecasts for the project. You can also open up the Project Forecasts or Project Forecast Info window to perform this activity.
2. Query for the budget/forecast version that you want to set to Preliminary status.
3. Right click, click Status and then click Set As Preliminary.
