Define Cost Element Code Part Demands
Explanation
This activity is used to define a set of code parts that are to be used in
budgeting against each cost element. By selecting a code part against a cost
element, it makes that code part mandatory in forecast lines, for that cost element.
These settings will be used as a template for projects that created thereafter.
Prerequisites
- Cost elements should be defined on the user's company in the
Cost/Revenue Elements window.
- The code parts to be defined against each cost element are displayed
based on their definition on the Define Code
String window.
System Effects
- A record is created for all new cost elements defined in this company in
the Cost/Revenue Elements window.
- Changes done on this tab will affect only the projects created
thereafter. Existing projects will not inherit the changes saved on this
tab.
