Cancel Project

Explanation

When a project is in Initialized status, it can be promoted to Canceled by running the menu option Cancel. The project is terminated. This status can be applied only if the project has been neither approved nor started. See the description About Projects for more information on project statuses.

Prerequisites

• The project must be in Initialized status.
• You must have access to the entire project to cancel it.

System Effects

• The project is in Canceled status.
• The Cancel Date is set to the current date.
• New activities cannot be created.
