Review GRC Indicator

Explanation

Use this activity to review general information about gross requirement calculation (GRC). The information in the GRC Indicator field, will indicate if the material plan is up-to-date or if a recalculation is needed. The gross requirement calculation performs a calculation of the required quantities and required dates. It analyzes the item structure and determines when the items must be available, for the assembling of the project deliverable structure. The GRC Indicator field will show Recalculation Needed information, in the following situations:

Prerequisites

Gross requirement calculation of required material should have been performed, as described here: Generate Material Plan.

Procedure

  1. Open the Project Deliverables Navigator window and populate it with values.
  2. In the header, review information in the GRC Indicator field.
  3. A new gross requirement calculation, will reset the value to Up To Date, as described here: Generate Material Plan.
