Create Engineering Part
Explanation
Use this activity to create an engineering part by using a right-mouse menu option
on project deliverables item.
Prerequisites
A project deliverable item should exist.
System Effects
The check box Engineering Part is being checked. This
indicates that an engineering part is exist.

Procedure
Create an engineering part in the Project Deliverables Navigator/General
or Components
or Navigation Items
tab:
- Open the Project Deliverables Navigator
window
and populate it with values.
- Click the General
or Components
or Navigation Items
tab:
- Right-click and then click Create Engineering Part. This opens
the
create the Create New Engineering Part assistant.
- Complete the Create New Engineering Part
assistant.
- Notice how the check box Engineering Part gets checked
to indicate that a engineering part exist.
- Right-click and click Engineering Part Revision.
- Review and enter additional information on the new engineering part, in Engineering Part Revision
window.
