Copy PDM Structure

Explanation

Use this activity to create a project deliverables structure by copying it from a PDM structure.

Prerequisites

A part with a underlying PDM structure should have been entered on the project deliverable item. How to create a PDM structure is describe here: Create Engineering Part and Import External Structure.

Procedure

Copy PDM structure in Project Deliverables Navigator/General tab or Project Deliverables Navigator/Components or Project Deliverables Navigator/Navigation Items :

1. Open the Project Deliverables Navigator window and populate it with values.
2. Open the General tab or Components or Navigation Itmes tab.
3. Right-click and then click Copy PDM Structure/One Level or All Levels.
4. Click OK.
5. Expand the tree to see the new project deliverable structure.
