Reinitiate Demands

Explanation

This activity is used to reinitiate demands for a maintenance order to ensure that any changes to resources and/or material on a task card or subtask are handled. Any changes in the task library to resources and material on the task cards or subtasks that are included on the selected event will be retrieved at this time. For material demands, you have the option of retaining existing reservations and peggings. Following will take place when resource and material demands are reinitiated:

Procedure

  1. Open the Maintenance Order window and search for the necessary maintenance order.
  2. Click the Maint. Order Str. tab.
  3. In the graphical object structure, select the event for which you want to reinitiate demands, right-click, and then click Re-initiate Demands. You can also right-click on the Event Details sub tab or the Included Events tab, and then click Re-initiate Demands.
  4. The Re-initiate Demands dialog box opens.
  5. Select the Keep Material Reservations and Peggings check box if you want to keep all existing reservations and peggings for the material on the event.
  6. Click OK.
