Complete Grouping Criteria
Explanation
This activity is used to complete grouping criteria. When you are finished with the definition of grouping criteria for a
grouping ID, you need to perform this activity to retrieve basic data for the
grouping criteria that will be used to build the Execution Logic Structure (ELS)
template. Note: Only the basic data records with the Include in
Execution Logic Planning check box selected will be considered. The
generated structure can be viewed graphically in the Gantt
tab or textually in the ELS Nodes
tab or the ELS Sequencing tab.
Prerequisites
- Grouping criteria must be defined for a grouping
ID and product model.
- Basic data for execution phase, task card
location, resource, zone, and function number must be defined. The data to
be included in the ELS template must have the Include in Execution Logic
Planning check box selected.
System Effects
- An ELS template with grouping nodes will be
generated for the grouping ID and product model. This can be viewed in the
Gantt chart or in a table format.
- A sorting can be added to all basic data valid for the selected grouping
criteria.
- If a sorting has been defined for execution phases in basic data, the
sorting will automatically be added to the template if the grouping
criterion for execution phases has been selected.
- The status of the grouping ID is set to Under
Preparation.
