Change Grouping Criteria for Maintenance Order
Explanation
This activity is used to change the grouping ID for a
maintenance order when an execution logic structure (ELS) is present. The ELS is
created when a maintenance order with the distribution type Execution Logic
Structure is set to the Under Preparation status. When the grouping
ID is changed, the ELS will be removed and a new ELS will be created
based on the new grouping ID.
Prerequisites
- The distribution type of the maintenance order
must be set to Execution Logic Structure.
- The maintenance order and events must be in the Under
Preparation status.
System Effects
- The grouping ID will be changed on the maintenance
order.
- The existing ELS will be removed and a new ELS will be created based on
the grouping criteria of the new grouping ID.
- If new ELO nodes are created, task cards and subtasks will be added or
copied to the ELO based on the new grouping ID. For instance, if multiple
resources or zones are used on a task card, and sorting is done on these
resources or zones on the new grouping ID, the task card will be copied to
each ELO node corresponding to the resources or zones on the task card.
- If demands have been released on the maintenance order, and planning
dates are changed or resources added to new ELOs, corresponding resource
activities will be generated or updated.
