Set Production Line Run Rate
Explanation
This activity is used to set a date-effective daily line
rate for the production line. This rate represents the planned maximum or
optimum production rate total, for the parts to be produced per day. This figure
is used in production schedule loading routines as a capacity figure. The line
rate is also used as a display, to compare the preferred line rate to the current
schedule loads, current demands, etc.
Prerequisites
A
production
line must have been defined.
System Effects
A daily line rate will be valid from the defined date for the production
line.
