Define Lead Time Categories

Explanation

This activity is used to define the lead time category which is relevant for a specific range of unprotected lead time of the part types. Along with this, relevant lead time factors can also be defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Lead Time Categories window.
2. Enter Lead Time Category and a Description.
3. Enter Part Type using the drop-down list. Enter the Minimum Unprotected Lead Time. Entered value will be the lowest value for the corresponding lead time category.
4. Enter Green Lead Time Factor (%), Red Lead Time Factor (%) which is a value between 0 to 100.
5. Enter Rolling Time Horizons for Historical ADU and Rolling Time Horizons for ADU Alert Horizon which are in Days.
6. Finally enter ADU Alert Threshold (%) which is a factor between 0-100.
7. Save the record.
