Connect Tools to DOP Operation

Explanation

Use this activity to connect tools to a selected DOP operation. 

Prerequisites

An operation must be defined for the DOP Order. The DOP Order must not be in status Closed or Canceled.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system connects tools to a DOP operation. New shop orders created from this DOP order will inherit the tool connection, however existing shop orders will not be updated.

Procedure

1. Select the DOP Order that has the operations to which you want to connect tools.
2. Click the Operations tab, then select the operation(s) to which you want to connect tools.
3. Right-click and click Operation Tools.
4. Select New.
5. Enter a Tool ID using the List of Values.
6. Change the Tool Quantity and Note Text, if necessary.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 for each tool that you want to connect to the selected operation.
8. Save.
