Copy Period Template

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new period template by copying an existing period template. This template can be used in various manufacturing planning modules.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a period template must have been defined.

Procedure

1. In the Template Site list box, select a period template to copy.
2. Right-click and click Copy current template.
3. The Copy Template dialog box will be opened. Under Target Template, select the target site in the Site field. Use the List option to select from available sites.
4. Enter the name of the target period template in the Template ID field.
5. Enter the description of the target template in the Template Description field.
6. Select the begin date for period 1 in the Period 1 Begin Date field.
7. Click OK.
