Acknowledge DOP Alarm

Explanation

Use this activity to acknowledge a DOP alarm. This is and optional activity done mainly for visibility purposes and does not affect anything else in the system.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a DOP alarm has been generated. The DOP alarm type cannot be of the type configuration. Configuration alarms must be solved and cannot therefore not be acknowledged.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the status of the alarm is changed from the default value Not Acknowledged to Acknowledged. In the field Acknowledged by, the name of the user under which you are logged in is displayed.

Procedure

1. In DOP Header/Alarms, DOP Order/Alarms, DOP Order/Component Alarms, or DOP Alarms, search for the DOP ID for which you want to change the alarm status.
2. Highlight the record, right-click and then click Acknowledge.
