Position - Access Setup
Usage
Use this window for management of position based access rights.
To understand how this window functions, you need to know the following
concepts:
- Access Attribute - the ability to access or modify a field in the
application, configured in the Access Attributes window.
- Access Role - a group of access attributes, combined together for easy
management, configured in the Access Role window.
- Position Structure - a hierarchical structure that consists of positions
created for a company or a matrix structure. It stores information about the
positions and relations between them. It is created in the Graphical
Position Structure window.
This window allows you to select a position, and grant it access to another
position. The access, however, is limited by the access roles and other fields
on the Access Definition tab.
The header displays general information about the currently selected position
structure.
