Execute Step
Explanation
This activity is used to execute the steps defined for a selected cost allocation procedure.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- The status of the cost allocation procedure to which the step belongs
should be Active.
- If the execution mode specified for your company in the Company|Periodical
Cost Allocation tab is Single, the preceding steps should be
already executed.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The selected step(s) will be executed and Executed check box will
be selected for the step to indicate that.
- If the execution did not have any results, the No Result check
box will be selected.
System effects specific to each step type are mentioned in the relevant
activities in the
Specify/Copy Steps activity diagram.

Procedure
To execute a step:
- Open the PCA Step Definition
window
and search for the procedure with the step you want to
execute.
- Select the step, right-click and then click Execute.
