Define Periods to Revalue

Explanation

This activity is used to define the ledgers and periods for which currency revaluation will take place. Each new line is given a system generated serial number as an identity. Ledger Type, Ledger ID, Accounting Year and Accounting Period fields must have values to save a record.

Procedure

To define periods to revalue:

  1. Open the Currency Revaluations window.
  2. In the Ledger Type field, select for which ledger currency revaluation should be performed. Default value is General Ledger.
  3. In Ledger ID field, enter the ledger ID for which ledger currency revaluation should be performed. Defualt value is 00 for General Ledger.
  4. In the Accounting Year field, enter the year for which you want to perform the currency revaluation.  
  5. In the Accounting Period field, enter the period for which you want to perform the currency revaluation.
  6. If you want to enter notes for the row, double-click on the Notes check box, enter the required text and click OK.
  7. Save the information.
