Enter Merge

Explanation

Use this activity to set the Merge flag on a PM action, but to enable the flag a PM Group must first have been entered. After group and merge options have been set the PM action will be available to be generated together with other PM actions into same work order.

Prerequisites

Before the Merge flag can be set following must have been completed:

• The current PM action must have been retrieved in the window.
• A value must have been entered into the PM Group ID field.

System Effects

• The PM actions with the same PM Group and the merge flag set will be eligible to be grouped and merged together if all criteria for that is fulfilled.
• If only the criteria for grouping is fulfilled no merge will take place but the PM actions will still be grouped together.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. See to that there is a value entered in the PM Group ID field to enable the Merge checkbox.
2. Set the Merge flag.
3. Save the information.
