Use this activity to enter mandatory information required to create a PM action. 

Prerequisites

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a PM action with a unique PM number will be created. The new PM Action will be in the Preliminary status.

Procedure

  1. Open PM Action window and create a new record.
  2. Enter an appropriate revision in the Revision field.
  3. In the Action field, select the PM action code for what must be done.
  4. Click the General tab.
  5. Choose the appropriate Connection Type.
  6. In the Object ID field, enter an object on which the PM action will be performed. Use List of Values to select a suitable value or enter it manually.
  7. In the Maint Org field, specify the responsible maintenance organization.
  8. Save the information.
