Connect Work Lists to PM Action

Explanation

Use this activity to plan work list lines on PM Action, i.e., to plan work and duration for the work, e.g., a cleaning work to be performed, and how many hours it will take. A work list can be performed by a single person or many persons. Furthermore, you can specify a particular team that should be in charge of the work list. When a team is defined, you can only specify persons that belong to the particular team.

Procedure

  1. Open the PM Action window, and query for an existing PM action.
  2. Click the Work List tab.
  3. Create a new record (F5).
  4. Enter a value in the Work List No field.
  5. Enter the maintenance organization that is in-charge of the work list in the Maint. Org. field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  6. Enter the number of hours required for the work list in the Duration field.
  7. Specify the site and the ID of the maintenance team in the Team Site and Team ID fields if you want the work list line to be performed by members of a particular maintenance team. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value. 
  8. Organize the work list lines according to the jobs if required. Work List lines can be connected to the jobs using one of the following methods:
  1. Enter any other optional information in the Remark field.
  2. Save the information (F12).
