Activate Operational Plan

Explanation

Use this activity to activate the operational plan. If IFS/Maintenance Planning Board (MPB) is used, it is mandatory to load active operational plans which is connected with equipment object structure and if there are work orders and PM occurrences to be scheduled for the Equipment objects in the object structure and will be used to derive the object accessibility when scheduling tasks/operations if applicable.

An operational plan can be viewed in maintenance planning board even if it is in under preparation or active statuses if needed.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity:

• An operational plan in UnderPreparation status should exist in the system.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, operational plan become active.
• If IFS/Maintenance Planning Board (MPB) is used, operational plan can be used as a guidance or to derive the object accessibility for scheduling tasks/operations in MPB if applicable.

1. Open the Operational Plan window.
2. Query (F3) for an Operational Plan that are in the status UnderPreparation.
3. Right click in the window and select Set Active.
