Define Crew Time Types

Explanation

This activity is used to define valid time types for crew members. Crew time for each crew member can be split between different types of time during a flight. These types, e.g., night flying time and instrument flying time, are predefined in this activity.

Procedure

1. Open the Flight Log Basic Data window and click the Crew Time Type tab.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Crew Time Type field, enter the relevant time type.
4. In the Crew Time Type Description field, enter a description of the time type.
5. In the Default Time Unit  field, you can define the time unit that is to be defaulted when a new record is created for crew time on a flight log. Entering a value in this field is optional. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
6. Save the information (F12).
