Usage

Use this window to view or define loss cause groups. A loss cause group functions as a base when performing different kinds of analysis tasks.

Loss cause groups can be defined as Internal or External loss cause groups. The purpose of this division, is to be able to easily identify if a stop within your facility is an internal or external stop event. External stop events refer to the events that are not controllable by the particular production unit where the stop occurred. An external stop event could be, for instance, lack of raw material or a general power failure.

All loss causes must be connected to the relevant loss cause groups. Note: A loss cause can only be connected to one loss cause group while the loss cause group can contain connections from several loss causes. For more information on loss causes, refer the online help file: Define Loss Causes.
