Connect Corrective and Preventive Action

Explanation

Use this step to connect already existing Corrective Action to NCR . A Corrective Action that is related to a NCR is made for eliminating the root cause of why the NCR occurred.

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out this step, a NCR in the Planned, Released or In Progress status is needed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a corrective action is connected to NCR.

Procedure

1. In the Non Conformance Report window.
2. In the header area, right-click and then click Connect Corrective Action. Connect Corrective and Preventive Action dialog box pops. It is also possible to right-click in the table under Action tab area or table under Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) tab area and select Connect Corrective Action.
3. In the dialog box, select Connect CAPA check box to connect already existing Corrective Actions to NCR and select OK.
