Use this tab to either add repair codes manually or view repair codes generated from the modifications and/or discrepancies defined for the disposition. The list of repair codes appears in the upper table. By modifying the value in the Repair Included list, you can select whether a particular repair code is included or ignored when the repair shop order is created. This allows you to exclude duplicate or unnecessary operations and to create a repair shop order without operations, which can be manually added later.
When repair codes are generated from the modifications and/or discrepancies, if there is a repair code defined as External then the default supplier and external service type will be copied to the disposition line. This will happen as long as there is only one repair code defined as External or if the repair codes are defined with the same supplier and the same external service type. If there are several repair code defined as External with either different suppliers and/or external service types, then it is up to the technician to define a supplier and an external service type for the disposition line. It is also up to the technician to maintain the supplier and an external service type if repair codes are added manually which are in conflict with a defaulted supplier and an external service type.
Details about the source, manual, discrepancy or modification, for the repair code appear in the lower table.
