Use this window to enter the characteristics that you can link to characteristic templates. For each characteristic, you enter the characteristic code and description, and indicate whether the search type should be numeric or alphanumeric. A numeric value consists of numerals only. An alphanumeric value can consist of numerals, letters, or a combination of both. For discrete characteristics, you must enter the allowed values as well.
