Recalculate Recipe

Explanation

Use this activity to recalculate recipes in status Plannable or Tentative. If the density of an inventory part changes and the part is a component in a recipe structure, the quantity of the part required for manufacturing must be recalculated. You can recalculate recipes component only for one individual part at a time.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a part with a recipe structure must have been defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The system recalculates all recipe structures in status Plannable or Tentative that include the specific part.

Procedure

1. In the Site field, select the site for which you want to run the recalculation or click List to select a required site from the List of Values.
2. If you want to recalculate recipes including a specific component part, enter the component part in the Part No field or click List to select a required  part from the List of Values.
3. Click OK.
