Enter Rework Structure Alternate

Explanation

Use this activity to define an alternate in which it is allowed to use the same part as component in its own structure or as a component with circular references to the parent part.

Note: *(star) alternate or alternate that is defined as a Lot Size Based alternate, cannot be used as a rework alternate.

Prerequisites

• The part must be defined
• The Rework check box must be selected

Procedure

1. Open the Recipe Structure window and populate or perform a selective query to get the required part.
2. Create or select the alternate that will be used as a rework alternate.
3. Select the Rework check box, Save the record.
4. Create the recipe structure and include the part that will be used for rework in the structure.
5. Save the record.
