Confirm Alternates

Explanation

This activity is used to confirm the transfer of alternate components for detailed structures of IFS Engineering.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a detailed engineering structure be defined. Also, alternate components for some or all of the parts in the engineering structure should be defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, and depending on the part transfer template defined for parts in the structure, the system transfers alternate components.

Procedure

1. Query  for the parent part by populating or by making a selective query.
2. Right-click anywhere in the header, then click Confirm Alternates.
