Prerequisites

An inventory part with planning method other than B, C, K, T, O H or N must exist.

As a result of this activity, the part is registered as a master schedule level 1 part.

Procedure

1. Open the MS Level 1 Part window.
2. Create a new record.
3. In the Part No field, enter the part number for the part you want to register as a MS level 1 part or use the List of Values to select from available parts.
4. Enter a value in the Demand field.
5. Enter a value in the Planning field.
6. If you want to plan a part which is project connected, enter a value in the Project PNG and Activity ID fields.
7. Save.
