Enter Operational Parameters per Part
Explanation
This activity is used to enter operational parameters for a part. This
activity makes it possible to enter life limits for life limited parts. The
operational parameters will be copied to all maintenance groups defined for the
serial part. One of the operational parameters must be defined as a primary operational
parameter. This is the same for all maintenance groups and cannot be changed if
one of the serials defined for the part number and maintenance group has operational loggings.
Prerequisites
- Operational parameters must be defined.
- A serial part must exist.
System Effects
- For life limited parts, it is possible to define life limits for the
operational parameters entered.
- When adding new operational parameters, any maintenance
group defined for the part is updated with the new operational parameter.
- It is possible to add a new operational parameter to a maintenance group
that is not defined for the serial part. For more information, refer to the
activity Supply Operational Parameter Information.
- All operational parameters for a maintenance group can be removed
as long as none of the serials
defined for the part number and maintenance group have operational loggings.
- You can register operational log data for all of the
serials belonging to a registered part number and maintenance group.
