Checks
Explanation
This activity is used to view calculated due dates for post maintenance check
events.
You can also use this activity to adjust the execution time of the background
job (For more information, refer the online help file
Using Background Jobs). At installation, the server process for due
calculations for post maintenance checks is set (by default) to execute each day at 8:00 P.M. The
background job can also be executed manually for a specific post maintenance
check.
Prerequisites
- A modification or a fault must exist and have connections to valid post
maintenance checks.
- The modification must be complied with or the fault signed off.
System Effects
- One or more post maintenance check events are created after the modification has been complied
with or after the fault has been repaired in accordance with the intervals set
on the post maintenance check definition.
- A pending maintenance event is created if the due date is within the forewarning limit.
