Reschedule Shop Order Operation Using Drag-and-Drop
Explanation
This activity is used to reschedule a shop order operation using
drag-and-drop functionality from a visualization chart.
Prerequisites
- The Schedule Direction of the shop order may not be set to Manual Scheduling.
- The site of the shop order may not
be connected to CBS server. Drag-and-drop scheduling from the visualization
chart is not possible for CBS server solution enabled site's shop orders.
- When performed from Machine Operation Load in Standard Hours
or Labor Operation Load in Standard Hours the X-Axis
option must be set to Include Non-Load Days.
System Effects
If the newly given start date is later than the original activity will result in:
- Schedule Direction for the operation is set to Forward Scheduling and the operation will be rescheduled to start the first
available work date/time from the given value.
- Operations parallel to, and succeeding the rescheduled operation will
also be set to Forward Scheduling and rescheduled.
- If the Compress Operations check box is selected, the operation preceding the rescheduled operation will be set to
Backwards Scheduling
and rescheduled with a Finish Date
adjacent to the rescheduled
operations new Start Date.
- If the rescheduling is triggered for a shop order rather than a single
shop order operation, first open operation (having the lowest
Operation Seq No)
on the order will be rescheduled.
If the newly given finish date is earlier than the original activity will
result in:
- Schedule Direction for the operation is set to
Backwards
Scheduling and the operation will be rescheduled to
finish the last available work date/time before the given value.
- Operations parallel to, and preceding the rescheduled operation will
also be set to Backwards Scheduling and rescheduled.
- If the Compress Operations check box is selected the
operation succeeding the rescheduled operation will be set to
Forward
Scheduling and rescheduled with a
Start Date
adjacent to
the rescheduled operations new
Finish Date.
- If the rescheduling is triggered for a shop order rather than a single
shop order operation the last open operation (having the highest
Operation Seq No) on the order will be rescheduled
