Check Schedule Component Availability

Explanation

This activity is used to check whether sufficient inventory exists to cover the material requirements for one or more specified production schedule records. You can select one or more production schedule records, and check whether sufficient inventory quantities exist to cover the required component material. This is a basic check on the inventory in stock that is not reserved and available at different locations.

Procedure

  1. Open the Production Schedule by Line or Production Line Management/Current Production Schedule window.
  2. Select one or more production schedules.
  3. Right-click and then click Component Availability.
  4. View the part availability in the dialog box that opens.
  5. Select the Show Short Component check box. You can customize the query and view only those components with an inventory shortage.
