Enter Indirect Job

Explanation

Use this activity to enter an indirect job. Indirect jobs can be used to report labor time that cannot be reported on a shop order operations like cleaning or maintenance. Similar to the shop order operations, time on an indirect job is reported on a team or an employee from Shop Floor Workbench window.

Procedure

1. Open the Indirect Jobs window.
2. Create a new line and enter the site which you want the indirect job to be valid on.
3. Enter an alphanumerical identifier for the indirect job in the Indirect Job ID field and an appropriate description in the Indirect Job Description field.
4. Save the record.

Note: If you do not want to use the indirect job for a period of time, the status can be set to Blocked or Hidden using the right mouse button option.
