Create Production Schedule from Proposed Schedule

Explanation

This activity is used to convert the proposed schedule into the new active production schedule for a line. You can either completely replace the existing schedule for that time range or simply add the proposed schedule as additional quantities to the existing schedule.

This activity is used only when the parts produced on the line is supplied using production schedules.

Prerequisites

A proposed schedule must exist for the production line.

System Effects

Production schedule records will be created for the line either as a complete replacement to the existing schedule for the affected date range, or as additional schedule quantities for the same date range. If the production schedule is added as additional quantities, any existing schedule for the same part, date, and default sequence (999) will be updated with the additional quantity. Otherwise, new schedule records will be created.
