Apply PM Program
Explanation
Use this activity to apply a PM Program to equipment objects, tool/equipment,
or linear assets.
Prerequisites
- Object shouldn’t be applied by another PM Program.
- Sites must have been registered and connected to the users in
Application Base Setup.
- Work Order site should be a valid for site in both Work Task Template
and PM Program.
- Work Order site should be in OK state in the Work Task Template.
- The Work Task Template should be active and valid.
System Effects
- PM actions will be generated for each connected work task template with all
the information from the work task template.
- The PM Program ID and revision will be connected to the Programs
tab of the Work Task Template window.
- The Task Template ID and revision will be connected to the
Jobs and Templates tab of the
PM Action window.
- The date set in the Apply PM Program dialog will only have effect on
Task Templates where Calendar based Maintenance Plan exist
to set the Start Date or Start Value respectively. Condition based or Event
triggered Maintenance Plans will not be affected.

Apply PM Program to Objects
Procedure
- Open the PM Program window
and query for an active and valid PM Program (F3).
- Right-click on an object from the applicable objects tab
and then click Apply PM Program. The Apply PM
Program to Objects dialog box opens.
- Enter values in the WO Site fields. Use List to select
suitable values.
- For Calendar based Maintenance Plans, set start date in PM
Calendar Trigger Start Date. For other Maintenance Plan types leave
the default value.
- Select Set PM Actions Active if you want to create PM Actions in
Active state. (Or else it will be created in Preliminary state).
- Click OK.
