Print Shipment Handling Unit Labels

Explanation

Shipment handling unit labels can be printed for the entire shipment or for specific handling units. The shipment handling unit label contains information about sender address, receiver address, transport instructions, delivery note number, number of handling units and the total weight for handling units.

Prerequisites

Handling units must have been created.

System Effects

A report containing labels with information about the sender, receiver, transport instructions, delivery note number, number of handling units contained and handling unit ID is printed.

Procedure

1. Open the Shipment window.
2. Click the Handling Unit Structure tab.
3. On the structure, select the specific level for which you want to print the shipment handling unit label (either the entire shipment or the required handling unit).
4. In the Handling Units tab, select the Print Handling Unit Label check box for the required handling unit records. Also select number of labels in No of Handling Unit Labels field.
5. On the structure, select the required level, right-click and then click Print Shipment Handling Unit Label(s).
6. Shipment handling unit labels are printed for the handling units of the selected level and the levels below that had the Print Handling Unit Label check box selected.

Note: In the shipment flow, it is possible to print transport labels for the entire structure automatically, as an optional event.

An alternative way to print shipment handling unit labels regardless of the value on the Print Handling Unit Label check box:

1. Open the Shipment/Handling Unit Structure/Handling Units tab.
2. Select the handling unit/handling units for which you want to print a shipment handling unit label.
3. Right-click and then click Print This Shipment Handling Unit Label.
4. The shipment handling unit label/labels are printed.
