Close Material Requisition Line

Explanation

This activity is used to close a material requisition line. If a material requisition line consisting of a non-inventory purchase part, gets canceled on the way, without reaching the purchase order receiving stage, the material requisition that the line belongs to will indicate a Partially Delivered status. You would need to close the incomplete requisition line so as to close the requisition as a whole.

Prerequisites

• A material requisition header must have been entered and saved.
• One or more requisition lines (consisting of a non-inventory purchase part) converted to a purchase order, should have been canceled in Planned status.

System Effects

• The status of the material requisition will be changed to Closed.

Procedure

1. Open the Material Requisition window, and populate or query for the appropriate material requisition.
2. Select the line that has been canceled as a purchase order in Planned status.
3. Right-click and click Close.
