Change Lifecycle Stage to Mature

Explanation

This activity is used to change the lifecycle stage of an inventory part to Mature.

Prerequisites

The part has to be in the lifecycle stage Decline or Expired.

System Effects

The part will be changed to the lifecycle stage mature. The lifecycle stage might also be changed when the Perform ABC, Frequency and Lifecycle Classification job is executed.

Procedure

1. Open the Planning Details for Inventory Parts window.
2. Select a part line in lifecycle stage Decline or Expired.
3. Right-click and click Move Part to Mature.
4. The Lifecycle stage is changed to Mature.
