Clear Storage Characteristics

Explanation

This activity is used to clear storage characteristics. Selected characteristics will be cleared on levels below the active level in the warehouse tree structure.

Select the Clear Capabilities check box to clear capabilities. This enables the possibility to select between the All or Operative on this level options. If the All option is selected, capabilities including those that have the Removed check box selected will be cleared for all levels. If the Operative on this level option is selected, only the operative capabilities on the active level will be cleared, excluding those that have the Removed check box selected.

This activity has no prerequisites.

System Effects

All selected characteristics with exceptions on the levels below, will be cleared. All levels in the warehouse navigator will still inherit the characteristics.

Procedure

1. Open the Warehouse Navigator window and search for the relevant site.
2. Select the required level in the left pane of the window.
3. Right-click on any of the tabs and then click Clear Storage Characteristics.
4. In the Clear Storage Characteristics dialog box that appears, select the characteristics that should be cleared for the levels below.
5. Click OK.
