Renumber Operations
Explanation
This activity is used to change the operation numbering step in a routing alternate or in a routing template.
Prerequisites
This
activity requires several number of operations.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The system modifies the routing operation numbers using the given step
value, e.g. the step value between two operations may be 5. This
can be used when the user need to add another operation between two
operations and need to maintain the same step value in all three operations.
This activity can be done only in Routing, Routing Template and Estimate
windows.
- If operation numbers are already used in other places such as shop
orders, or material lines in product structures, the user has to modify the
operation numbers in those relevant places manually.
