Define Maintenance Level
Explanation
Use this activity to define a maintenance level. Maintenance levels are used to identify the operations and components used when
disassembling and reassembling a part for different levels of maintenance work.
Prerequisites
Maintenance levels can be entered at any time. However, it is intended that
maintenance levels will be entered after the structures the maintenance levels address have been transferred from VIM.
System Effects
- Maintenance levels are
created and available to associate with parts later in the MRO process.
- When MRO interim order structures are created, the maintenance level will be used to determine which routing operations and
manufacturing structures records to select.
