Copy Work Center from Other Work Center
Explanation
Use this activity to copy a work center and its cost and resource information to a new
work center.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that there be a work center from which to
copy.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the system creates a new work
center by copying an existing work center. If the site is the same, the cost and resource
information are copied to the new work center. If the site is not the same, the cost
information is not copied. Instead, four default cost sets (1, 2, 3, and 4) are created
for the new work center.

Copy to New Work Center
Procedure
- In the Work Center combo box, select a work center from which to copy.
- Right-click and then click Copy Work Center.
- Enter a short code for the new work center in the Work Center No field. This code can
consist of up to 5 alphanumeric characters.
- Enter a description of the work center in the Description field.
- In the Site field, specify the site at which the work center is to be used.
Click List to select from available sites.
- Click OK to create the new work center.
