Adjust Batch Size from Recipe Line

Explanation

Use this activity to adjust the batch size until the total weight share is 100%.

Note: A component with the check box Exclude from Calculations will not be effected the recipe is adjusted.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that the component quantity be entered by Qty Weight UoM or Qty UoM.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system adjusts the batch size.

Procedure

1. Populate or make a selective query to display the parent part.
2. Change the quantity for the specific components in the Qty Weight UoM field or in the Qty UoM field depending on the selected enter by.
3. In the Structure tab window, select Adjust Batch Size from the right-click menu. The value in the Batch Size field is adjusted according to the changes you made.
4. To approve the adjustment, click Save.
