Create Job Cost Parameters

Explanation

It is possible to define Job Cost Parameters in a basic data window 'Job Cost Parameters'  in order to define parameter values created in the Rate Agreement, Projects and Work Orders. These parameter values will be used to fetch the relevant rates and calculate Job Cost accurately. User has the flexibility to setup parameters as header parameters on the rate agreement as well as to appear in the Projects and Work Orders. Further, a phaseout date can be set to restrict adding values to the parameters after a given date,

Prerequisites

• Select a parameter from the list of parameters
• Number of Parameters should not exceed 10 as only 10 parameters are possible

System Effects

• Parmeters will be created with a parameter number
• Fields 'Use on Rate Agreement header' , 'Use on Job' and 'Phaseout Date' is user definable at the new/edit mode
• The defined parameters will reflect in Rate Agreements header/detail sections, Project setup and Parameters and Work Order as defined
