Use this tab to enter warehouse attributes regarding capacities and conditions for a specific level in the warehouse structure i.e. site, warehouse, bay, row, tier and bin. Entered values are inherited down to the whole underlying structure, unless deviating values are entered on lower levels. Examples of general warehouse attributes that can be entered are: width, height, depth, volume, weight, temperature and humidity.
These values are used as a part of the putaway process when moving parts in inventory. They are used to find the best available location for a part.
Based on the selected warehouse node, the fields displayed on this tab will be different. On the Site level, there is no need to show information about inheritance since it is the top level of the structure. On the Warehouse, Bay, Row, Tier and Bin levels, both information entered on the current level and the information about inheritance is displayed.
