Define Job Categories

Explanation

This activity us used to create job categories which divide jobs according to staff categories. Examples of job categories would be: Back Office, Operation, Operation Support, Field Staff, Plant Starr, Blue-Collar, White-Collar, Drilling Staff etc.

There are no prerequisites.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, job categories will be registered in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Job Categories window and add a new record.
2. In the Job Category field, enter the name of the category which you want to create.
3. In the Job Category Description field, enter a short description of the category.
4. Save your changes.
