Analyze Jobs

Explanation

Use this window to analyze and compare jobs. Attributes and their values can be used as search criteria so that all jobs that share them can be shown. For example, you can look for jobs that require higher education, proficiency in English, and a driver's certificate. You can also see what other properties they have, how many employees hold them, and in what organization units jobs are utilized.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, jobs have to be registered in the system.

Procedure

  1. Open the Job Analysis window.
  2. Pick one:
    Select the Multi Company Analysis option if you want to view every job registered in the system, regardless of the company.
    Select the Company option if you want to look for jobs from a single company. If selected, enter the ID of the company in the field located on the right of the option.
  3. Pick one:
    Select the Show Jobs and Attributes As At option if you want to view only jobs that are valid on a certain date. Select the date in the field on the right of the option.
    Select the Show All Jobs and Attributes option if you want to view all the jobs, regardless of their validity period.
  4. The Job Attribute List area stores all attributes used do define jobs. Select an attribute you are looking for and click the > button to move it to the Analysis Job Attributes List area.
    Note: You can also press the >> button to move all attributes at once.
  5. In the Analysis Job Attributes List area, highlight an attribute to display all of its registered values in the Job Attribute Values List area.
  6. From the Job Attribute Values List area, select values you look for. Then, press the > button on the right. This will move the value to the Analysis Criteria List area, which displays all values you are currently looking for in a job.
    Note: You can also press the >> button to move all values at once.
  7. If you selected several attributes in step 4, go back to step 5 until you have selected all analysis criteria that you want a job to have.
  8. In the Display Settings area, select what additional information you want to see about jobs you are looking for. Read field usages to learn what columns will appear in the table if a check box is selected.
  9. Click Populate to run the analysis. The system will look for all jobs that meet criteria specified earlier and display them in the table below.
